Matching Journal and Tile
I finally finished the journal and tile to match the card I made for my son's senior buddy. I am really happy with how it turned out and it was so much fun to make. I stamped a flower on every page on the inside of the journal. My son also drew her a picture (which I forgot to take a picture of).
The colors I used on the card, tile and journal were old olive, chocolate chip, regal rose and rose red.

How long has it been??????
I can't believe it has taken me this long to post something (or make something). After taking a break over the holidays I feel excited again to make some things. After looking at the new mini catalog and the Sale-a-bration catalog I have so many things I want to try.
However, today I worked on a card for my son's senior buddy. The school where my son attends kindergarten has a program where each kindergartener is assigned a senior buddy. My son's senior buddy is a girl - but an incredible girl who loves sports and animals. Once my son heard that she loved animals he was crazy about her.
Well her birthday is this January so I wanted to make her a card. My favorite is the card with the brown ribbon and the large green button at the top of the posting. I plan on making a journal and something elso to go with it. I will post that later when I get it done.
Oh by the way, this Inspired by Nature Stamp set is one of my Favorites!!!
Stamps: Inspired by Nature, the word Bloom from Bloomin' Beautiful set
Ink - SU Markers - Regal Rose, Rose Red, Old Olive, Choc Chip
Accessories - Final Press embossing folder - another favorite

Anniversary card for my awesome In-Laws
My in-laws anniversary is the day after Christmas. I was so glad to be making a card other than a Christmas card. Don't get me wrong - I love, love, love Chistmas. But with all of the coaster and tile classes and trying to make my own gifts I have been a little burnt out.
I love the regal colors and wanted an elegant card for my in-laws anniversary. This is the card I came up with.
Stamps: Bella Toile background stamp, Pocket Silhouettes
Paper: Burgandy and Kraft
Ink: Burgandy
